eBay sold data

Completed eBay transactions alongside Etsy — the strongest evidence class in the system, because a sold listing is an observed sale rather than a modelled one. It is also what lets us score our own forecasts against what actually happened.

Search volume with units

Marketplace-native keyword volume and competition, on the platform where the transaction happens. Not Google Trends, which is relative interest with no scale and cannot tell you whether a rising line is a thousand searches or ten.

Comment mining

Mining forum threads and design comments for unmet requests — the 'I wish someone made…' posts that surface demand before a single listing exists. Kept as qualitative evidence, never counted as demand.
